Become an MTB Movie Star!

10 February 2011  |
Innovative mountain bike holiday company Singletrack Safari are offering all of their guests a fantastic added extra as a memento of their holiday in 2011 - a carefully edited video of the highlights of their week's riding - absolutely free of charge. Shot using a mixture of onboard, helmet and high definition handheld cameras the action is recorded throughout each day of riding, and then lovingly assembled with professional editing software to create a slick, high quality riding video. Martin Hills, director of Singletrack Safari says: Singletrack Safari "We always try to give our guests great value and we think that most riders love the idea of starring in their very own MTB movie! We shoot around 10 hours of footage every week, which we then carefully edit down to a really great video which is normally about 10 minutes long. Each movie takes us a full day to edit – which gives you an idea of how determined we are to make each video something a bit special. This isn't the average dull helmet cam footage you normally find online!" Singletrack Safari Each movie is given a professional touch by the addition of slick titles, scene transitions and music (Martin studied video editing in the past) and the finished product is then uploaded to the company's YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/singletracksafari ) for the world to watch. Singletrack Safari started offering this extra during 2010 and it has proved incredibly popular, and the company now has over 40 videos online, showing riding from holidays in Spain, Andorra and The Alps amongst others. As an added bonus for 2011 there's an extra special offer to any riders who join the company for their "Spanish Trail Tapas" holidays in April and May – there will be a daily riding video created. This means that over the course of the week guests will get 5 mini-movies to match the 5 different mountain ranges which the amazing holiday sees them visiting!
